Městský soud v Praze po třech přerušených jednáních dokončil čtení dvou obžalob v korupční kauze bývalého soudce Zdeňka Sováka. Toho poté museli opět ze soudu transportovat záchranáři do nemocnice.
Městský soud v Praze se zabývá případem bývalého soudce Zdeňka Sováka, který měl podle obžaloby požadovat desítky milionů korun za zajištění mírnějšího trestu pro stavební společnost Metrostav.
Metrostav byl nepravomocně odsouzen za zmanipulované tendry. Dostal tříletý zákaz účastnit se veřejných zakázek. Sovák s Plevačem chtěli zákaz změnit na peněžitý trest 350 milionů korun.
S výsledky šetření vrchní státní zástupkyně Lenka Bradáčová seznámila ministryni spravedlnosti Marii Benešovou (za ANO), která je však podle šéfky pražských žalobců odmítla akceptovat.
Největší stavební firma v České republice byla v Rathově kauze zatím nepravomocně odsouzena k zákazu účasti ve veřejných zakázkách na tři roky. Soud jí uložil také zaplatit deset milionů.

Šéf katedry trestního práva Univerzity Karlovy odmítá, že by obviněnému soudci Sovákovi s čímkoli radil. „Celé je to slátanina, která je v rozporu s elementární logikou,“ uvedl pro iROZHLAS.cz.
